Welcome to our new “how to” page, designed to provide cost effective and practical solutions to watery matters, just follow the links below to access a You Tube video.
The videos below are designed to give the clearest advice possible for the installation of our product range, we would however remind installers that to comply with Water Fittings Regulations, INSUduct should offer thermal and impact protection to a depth of 750mm below ground level.
If it is not possible to get down to 750mm (i.e. over footings etc.) it may be possible to protect pipes laid at less than 750mm deep with our SHalloduct product, details can be downloaded from the INSUduct technical page (working over footings).
Any work on a water service pipe is a notifiable event to your local water company under Regulation 5 of the Water Fittings Regulations, we suggest that you advise them of your proposed activity in writing (signed for letter or receipted email) if no response is received within 10 working days, the project may go ahead.
