Installing a new large-bore water pipe in a refurbished boiler room can be challenging, especially when plant rooms cannot be taken offline. At Dundee University, engineers used INSUduct 63™ to route the new water service externally, entering the building at high level. The result? The refurbished boiler rooms at Dundee University needed a new 63mm OD water supply pipe. Traditionally, this would have required running the pipe through existing plant rooms, none of which could be turned off for installation.
