Steve Leigh, Managing Director of Groundbreaker Systems and Fellow of The Institute of Water has been awarded the Home Builders Federation, HBF, Utility Individual of the year Award.
The HBF is the voice of the home building industry in England and Wales, their members deliver around 80% of the new homes built each year and the organisation works with Government officials to ensure housing policies are introduced that facilitate housing supply, in a way that is workable for the industry.
The HBF organises a wide range of conferences and events, one of which is the HBF National Utilities Conference that is held annually at the DW Stadium in Wigan.
The Utility Individual Award is a highly prestigious award and has previously been awarded internationally. Steve Wielebski, who is a respected senior consultant to the HBF, presented Steve Leigh with his award.
‘I am delighted to be awarded the HBF Utility Individual of the Year’ said Steve Leigh ‘to be named Utility Individual of the Year by such an influential organisation is a real honour’
